VT Cosmetics Cica Review

VT Cosmetics is a K-beauty leading brand which carries makeup, skincare and oral care products. They have three main visions, the first is to use natural ingredients, the second is to be an innovator and leader in skin science technology and the third is to be trendy, having stylish designs. They are also the first beauty brand to collaborate with the famous K-pop band BTS.

I tried out three products from their Cica range; Cica Mild Cleansing Tissue (50 pcs), Cica Mild Foam Cleanser (300ml) and their Cica Cream (50ml). Cica is a more commonly used term for Centella Asiatica, a well-known medicinal herb commonly found in Asia, also known as Tiger Grass. It is famous for its ability to calm and soothe irritated skin, encourages collagen production, has antioxidant properties which help to prevent scarring, strengthen your skin and improve the appearance of wrinkles and age spots.  as well as helps to hydrate. Thus making it the perfect ingredient for those with sensitive, acne-prone or mature skin.

I incorporated these products into my skincare routine, firstly I used the Cica Mild Cleansing Tissue (50 pcs) to remove my makeup from the day. I was pleasantly surprised by the thick, premium fabric of the tissue which was soft and didn’t irritate my skin, removing most of my makeup with one smooth swipe. It left my skin feeling soft and supple, unlike most makeup wipes which tend to leave your skin feeling tight and dry. Next, I followed up with the Cica Mild Foam Cleanser (300ml), it had a nice bubbly lather which was gentle on my skin and I noticed after rinsing it off my skin felt glowy, refreshed and full of moisture with all the excess impurities, sebum and dirt are gone. Finally, I finished off with the Cica Cream (50ml), it had a nice texture that was not too heavy and didn’t leave my skin feeling greasy and oily, instead, my skin felt calm, nourished and thoroughly hydrated.

Overall, I would recommend this range, it is hydrating, soothing and nourishing, any of these products would be a great addition to your skincare routine, benefitting your skin immensely leaving it feeling supple and glowy.
