Not every K-beauty brand has a lasting trend like COSRX. Many K-beauty brands that were launched several years back lost their tractions, but why COSRX has consistently maintained its popularity and finally slipped into our daily skincare routine?
Almost all my conversations within my circle when it comes to skincare seemingly leads to this brand — COSRX. Although it was first introduced to fellow Malaysian several years back, some of my friends are still not well-versed like they do with Hada Labo, and I think they ought to!
Comparing COSRX to the popular The Ordinary, both of them focus on basic and minimalistic packaging to highlight their key ingredients. Looking for an AHA BHA toner? There's a product literally called AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner (150ml). Need a hydrating overnight mask? Look for the Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask.
It is so easy to see why COSRX is so loved in Malaysia (and all around the world) — because their prices are very reasonable (between RM9 to RM100+*) and most importantly, they deliver results!
This is because COSRX and Mr.RX are dedicated to targeting skin problems and with the years of study they crafted and improved their solution. For example, every ingredient contained in a skincare bottle composes of active ingredients and other supporting ones. COSRX isn't playing a joke, they made sure the right or high amount of active ingredients per ml are inserted to ensure delivery of results.
When going through my hormonal acne, it was COSRX that helped me overcome the problem where all other products failed to. Now, COSRX products form at least 30% of my daily skincare routine and I have no plans to change.

If you have sensitive, oily or acne-prone skin COSRX has the best cleansers for you. Ranging from low pH to salicylic acid. They help dissolve dirt, grime, and buildup on skin that clogs pores — including blackheads. Take their Salicylic Acid, for example, the tea tree oil serves as a function to calm the skin and also making sure that the active ingredients from drying out which is secret to why COSRX works so well compared to other brands.
